Job Description

Estimator/Application Engineer role focused on creating competitive proposals for custom power distribution equipment in collaboration with Engineering, Sales, and Operations.

Responsibilities

Review customer specifications and determine project scope.
Prepare accurate cost estimates and bid packages.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and specifications.
Work closely with Engineering, Sales, and Operations to develop winning proposals.
Identify technical alternatives that create value for customers.
Respond to technical and commercial questions from customers and the sales team.
Assist with order transfer to Engineering after projects are awarded.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) or equivalent industry experience
1-2+ years of electrical engineering or estimating experience
Experience with power distribution equipment is strongly preferred
Ability to read electrical prints and one-line diagrams
Strong organizational and communication skills
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a team environment
