Estimator-Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications and determine project scope.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and bid packages.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and specifications.
• Work closely with Engineering, Sales, and Operations to develop winning proposals.
• Identify technical alternatives that create value for customers.
• Respond to technical and commercial questions from customers and the sales team.
• Assist with order transfer to Engineering after projects are awarded.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) or equivalent industry experience
• 1-2+ years of electrical engineering or estimating experience
• Experience with power distribution equipment is strongly preferred
• Ability to read electrical prints and one-line diagrams
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a team environment
