Job Description

AE Electrical Solutions is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead daily operations and drive profitability from our Frankfort, Kentucky office. This hands-on leadership role combines engineering oversight with strategic direction to sustain growth and to achieve the Vision, Mission, and Values of AE Company.

Responsibilities

The Principal Engineer reports directly to the President/CEO of AE Company.
Analyze and present financial results of Capitol E&A operations.
Coordinate and oversee employee work activities and training.
The Capitol E&A positions report directly to the Principal Engineer, which include, but are not limited to project managers, engineers, technicians, etc.
Evaluates the performance of the employees reporting to him/her and reviews their evaluation with them regularly.
Participates in the hiring, advising, counseling, and disciplining the employees reporting to her/him.
Develop sales and execution strategy for Capitol E&A.
Reviews quality systems, safety procedures, and training to protect company assets.
Coordinates with the AE Company Safety and Risk Management departments regarding standards compliance, training, and reporting.

Requirements

College degree in Engineering or related field.
Current Kentucky PE license or reciprocal state with the ability to attain a Kentucky PE license.
Two years' experience stamping drawings/designs.
Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
