Role focus and responsibilities
This position supports the Process Automation Energy Industries Division in North America. Reporting to the Digital Solution Engineering Manager, the Cybersecurity Engineer will coordinate delivery and onboarding activities that apply cybersecurity within OT/ICS environments.
- Provide technical support to customers by helping them apply cybersecurity solutions that enhance security and resilience in OT environments
- Execute and support implementation of cybersecurity solutions, helping drive timely and cost-effective project delivery through coordination and technical expertise
- Deliver training and ongoing support across the solution lifecycle, from onboarding through post-deployment to support successful adoption and long-term satisfaction
- Partner with Sales and technical teams to understand customer requirements and demonstrate how cybersecurity offerings address operational challenges
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years cybersecurity experience, including at least 2 years in industrial automation or OT environments
- Strong understanding of ICS/SCADA, network protocols such as Modbus and OPC, and industrial communication standards
- Knowledge of OT security best practices and cybersecurity frameworks, including IEC 62443, NIST, and ISO/IEC 2700x
- Solid foundation in cybersecurity fundamentals such as risk assessments, access control, incident response, and vulnerability management
- Familiarity with cyber platforms including AV solutions, backup and recovery, network monitoring, and patching strategies for OT systems
- Strong focus on safe work practices and following workplace safety guidelines
- Ability to travel up to 65%
- US Citizen or work authorization to perform work within the US
