2027 Associate Software Engineer
Job Description
This entry level software engineering role is based onsite in Huntsville, Alabama, and sits within Northrop Grumman's Space sector as part of the 2027 Associate Software Engineer Pathways rotational program. The position emphasizes designing, developing, testing and debugging software while coordinating with hardware engineers to integrate systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test and debug applications software and systems that address logical and mathematical problem solving.
- Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers in planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.
Requirements
- Be pursuing or have completed a degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) from an accredited institution.
- Major in or have majored in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Eligible to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite.
- Able to obtain Special Access Program clearance within a reasonable timeframe, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
