AI Engineer

Robotics Technologies is hiring an AI Engineer for an onsite contract role in Boston, MA. This position focuses on hands-on Generative AI and Agentic AI work, with an emphasis on designing and deploying cloud-based AI/ML solutions that support enterprise applications.

The role spans the full AI lifecycle, from solution design through production deployment, including monitoring, observability, and ongoing performance and security considerations. You will collaborate closely with data engineering and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Compensation: USD 68 - 68 per hourly

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions using Python.
• Build AI agents and integrate AI models with enterprise applications.
• Develop and deploy cloud-based AI/ML solutions into production.
• Support the full AI development lifecycle, from solution design to deployment and monitoring.
• Work with data engineering teams to ensure data quality and reliability.
• Implement AI security, performance optimization, and observability standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Python.
• Experience in Generative AI and Agentic AI development.
• Knowledge of cloud-based AI solutions and AI/ML system design.
• Experience integrating AI models and supporting production deployment.
• Understanding of data engineering, AI security, performance, and monitoring.
• Experience delivering work with Agile practices and across the full software development lifecycle.
• Strong skills in problem-solving, documentation, and communication.
