What you’ll do
Design, build, and deploy generative AI systems tailored to customer missions. You’ll own end-to-end delivery across problem definition, data preparation, model development, performance evaluation, and deployment, with an emphasis on iterative optimization to improve model and system performance over time.
You will also collaborate closely with Program Managers, Subject Matter Experts, Architects, Product Designers, and Data Scientists to turn customer requirements into scalable, mission-ready AI solutions. Expression also expects you to conduct research and create prototypes to explore emerging AI technologies and new application ideas.
As you grow in the role, you’ll demonstrate strong Data Science and AI engineering practices, mentor junior engineers, and help foster a culture of innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related discipline
- 3+ years of experience building and deploying AI/ML models
- 1+ year of experience developing products or functional prototypes using LLMs and RAG technologies
- Expertise in generative AI frameworks such as GAN, GPT, and LangChain
- Advanced knowledge of prompt engineering techniques for generative models
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or equivalent
- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create design documents, technical reports, and presentations for varied audiences
Preferred
- MS or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related discipline
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for ML workloads
- Familiarity with tools and practices for data engineering and data management
- Experience in short-release cycles and the full software lifecycle
- Experience with Agile development methodology (Scrum)

Salary: USD 130,000 - 160,000 per year.
