Job Description
Build autonomous AI agents that handle Anthropic’s go-to-market work end to end. On the GTM Claudification team, you’ll design and operate systems that help sellers run key motions with human oversight, backed by strong evaluation, production monitoring, and measurable impact on pipeline and revenue.
This is a remote role with compensation of USD 320,000 to 405,000 per year. Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco, with benefits including optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, and flexible working hours.
What you’ll do
- Build and operate autonomous agents that run go-to-market motions end to end, including inbound, outbound, pipeline management, and customer engagement
- Design human oversight for each motion, including approval gates, handoffs, and escalation paths so sellers remain in control
- Develop evaluation frameworks for agent behavior and run them across development and production
- Instrument model and tool calls in production, and create observability and measurement that link agent actions to pipeline and revenue
- Ship MCP servers, agent skills, and web applications that connect to core systems such as CRM, communication tools, and a data warehouse
- Set technical direction for building, evaluating, and operating agents across the team
- Architect shared codebases for go-to-market builders, establishing conventions and review practices to protect quality
- Partner directly with sellers to ground agent designs in real workflows and iterate based on observed outcomes
- Identify repeatable patterns and share insights with Product and Engineering teams
- Keep up with the latest advances in LLM capabilities, agent frameworks, and evaluation techniques
What you bring
- Strong programming skills in Python or TypeScript, including experience building and operating production applications
- Production experience with LLMs, including context engineering, agent development, MCP development, tool use, and evaluation frameworks
- Experience using evals and transcript analysis to find and fix real issues in an LLM system
- Working fluency with data, including SQL
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and ship without a spec, finding straightforward solutions to complex problems
- Commitment to advancing safe, beneficial AI, with care for the people using what you build
Preferred
- 8+ years in roles such as software engineer, ML engineer, or forward deployed engineer; former technical founders are encouraged to apply
- Experience with Claude Code and the Claude Agent SDK
- Experience with go-to-market systems (CRM, sales engagement, enrichment, conversation intelligence) or working closely with a revenue team
- Experience growing a codebase many people contribute to via inner-source or open-source
- Applied ML and experimentation experience such as A/B testing, propensity models, recommendations, or causal analysis
- Exceptional communication skills with non-technical partners, with low ego
Representative work
- Build an agent that moves a routine sales workflow from initial signal to a drafted, human-reviewed action
- Stand up an agent eval suite with scenario seeds, scoring rubrics, and regression runs on every change
- Ship an MCP server that provides sellers and their agents governed access to a core revenue system
- Design a shared repository where go-to-market builders publish agents and skills, including tests and review rules to keep it healthy
- Build a predictive model that can explain itself so an agent can tell sellers why it suggests an action
Minimum qualifications and logistics
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
- Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
- Experience: Minimum years correlate with internal job level requirements
- Work location: Location-based hybrid policy: expected in one of Anthropic’s offices at least 25% of the time (some roles may require more)
- Visa sponsorship: Visa sponsorship is available; Anthropic will make reasonable efforts to support an offer with an immigration lawyer
- Application: Encouraged to apply even if you do not meet every qualification
- Safety: Recruiters contact candidates only from @anthropic.com email addresses
Technologies: Python, TypeScript, LLMs, MCP, SQL
