AI Platform Data Engineer, Ring Agent Platform Org

Amazon’s Ring Agent Platform is seeking an AI Platform Data Engineer to design and operate scalable data infrastructure that underpins subscription lifecycle analytics, monitors service performance, and enables self-service reporting. This onsite role in Hawthorne, CA offers a salary range of USD 132,100 to 178,800 per year and requires a Master’s degree with at least three years of data engineering experience. You will collaborate with teams across Subscription, Finance, and Monitoring Services to translate needs into data capabilities and ensure governance and security.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain efficient, scalable data pipelines that respect privacy and security, curate datasets for AI/ML use, and support AI-native self-service data platforms.
• Partner with stakeholders across Subscription, Finance, and Monitoring Services to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Create and maintain curated datasets that support agent-focused analysis of customer lifecycles, churn signals, and service health metrics.
• Develop and operate data pipelines using AWS services and internal Amazon tools, incorporating automation to improve efficiency.
• Contribute to self-service data platforms enabling stakeholders to access and explore subscription and monitoring data.
• Implement data governance components including data classification, PII detection, and lineage tracking.
• Lead and participate in collaborative sessions that help stakeholders understand and adopt data capabilities.

Requirements

• Three or more years of data engineering experience.
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
• Experience building and operating highly available distributed systems for extracting, ingesting, and processing large data sets.
• Experience developing, deploying, and managing AI products at scale.
• Master's degree.
