Job Description
IDR, Inc. is hiring an Application Security Engineer in Atlanta, GA (onsite) to help strengthen application security across Salesforce, .NET, and Azure App Services. This role supports a practical, DevSecOps-focused approach, integrating security into the way teams build and release software. You will partner closely with developers to reduce risk, improve secure coding practices, and strengthen the full application security lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Build and implement the organization’s application security / DevSecOps program
- Integrate application security into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows
- Manage penetration testing and vulnerability testing processes
- Implement and manage static and dynamic code analysis
- Own the end-to-end application security lifecycle, from testing through remediation
- Partner with developers to identify, remediate, and prevent application security vulnerabilities
- Train developers and help establish secure coding and application security practices across the organization
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Application Security, DevSecOps, or a closely related role
- Strong secure coding and code review experience with .NET and Salesforce/Apex
- Hands-on Salesforce security architecture experience, including security configuration and access controls
- CI/CD security experience integrating security tools into Git and Azure DevOps workflows
- Hands-on application security testing experience, including SAST, DAST, SCA, and container security
