Application Security Engineer - AI Trainer
Job Description
The Application Security Engineer - AI Trainer role supports the training of AI models for cybersecurity use cases by validating AI-generated security content and producing security-focused technical problem sets.
Responsibilities
- Review AI-generated cybersecurity material, including threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques, to confirm real-world accuracy and validity.
- Create and solve security-focused technical problems that are used to train AI systems.
- Produce clear technical explanations and security-relevant code as part of the training content.
- Deliver feedback that directly contributes to the development of next-generation AI security models.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role, such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or adjacent fields, including government or military cyber operations.
- Some coding experience required, with the ability to navigate and patch a codebase comfortably.
- Fluent English (native or bilingual) and strong writing skills.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Cybersecurity certifications are a plus, including OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, or similar credentials.
