Applied AI Engineer

Intone Networks is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to join its New York operations, focusing on the end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of AI and ML platforms as well as GenAI production workflows. The role emphasizes practical LLMOps, GenAI orchestration, and enterprise deployments, with a preference for experience in Fixed Income or Institutional Lending contexts.

New York, NY 10019; onsite three days per week. There will be one onsite interview.

Salary: USD 65 - 70 per year. Contract rate: 65 - 70 C2C.

Minimum experience listed: 2+ years.

Requirements

• 5+ years of strong front-to-back engineering experience focused on AI/ML platforms and workflows, using Python or Java.
• Proficiency in Python or Java with frontend experience in Angular or React is a major plus.
• 2+ years of dedicated experience applying GenAI solutions in an enterprise business environment.
• Strong LLMOps expertise, including evaluation harnesses, prompt and version management, regression testing, observability, and reliability measurement in production systems.
• Experience designing and operating GenAI orchestration frameworks in production beyond vendor examples, such as LangChain systems.
• Proven experience building and operating production-grade GenAI/LLM platforms, employing patterns like RAG, tool/function calling, agentic workflows, and validated structured outputs.
• Fixed Income or Institutional Lending domain experience.
