Responsibilities

  • Develop electrical distribution deliverables (up to 34.5 kV) from design through execution
  • Prepare equipment specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM) for procurement and construction
  • Correspond with clients, vendors and subcontractors
  • Potential travel opportunities to client and vendor offices and/or project sites for design reviews, construction coordination and field verification
  • Adhere to and/or prepare design budgets and schedules
  • Perform QA/QC responsibilities
  • Prepare engineering deliverables for multiple projects
  • Conduct research to develop equipment and material recommendations
  • Manage data and perform complex engineering calculations
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements across multiple disciplines
  • Lead larger production teams, coordinate multiple discipline activities, and serve as the responsible charge for a project
  • Consistently and independently apply knowledge and comply with quality programs
  • Provide guidance and direction to others on the same project and discipline
  • Support continuous improvement and change management efforts
  • Interface directly with clients, vendors and subcontractors
  • Identify key client interests and drivers for projects
  • Communicate client concerns to project team members and develop solutions
  • Provide support for business development or pursuit activities
  • Manage project changes directly with the client under Project Manager supervision
  • Prepare a variety of complex engineering deliverables
  • Lead large multi-discipline teams to meet project deliverables
  • Provide technical leadership for Distribution Line projects
  • Drive solutions to achieve project goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering technology or sciences preferred or any other degree, specialized training, or experience, that makes the individual uniquely qualified to perform the job responsibilities
  • Minimum of 1 year of related work experience
  • Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search) in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
