Responsibilities
- Develop electrical distribution deliverables (up to 34.5 kV) from design through execution
- Prepare equipment specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM) for procurement and construction
- Correspond with clients, vendors and subcontractors
- Potential travel opportunities to client and vendor offices and/or project sites for design reviews, construction coordination and field verification
- Adhere to and/or prepare design budgets and schedules
- Perform QA/QC responsibilities
- Prepare engineering deliverables for multiple projects
- Conduct research to develop equipment and material recommendations
- Manage data and perform complex engineering calculations
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements across multiple disciplines
- Lead larger production teams, coordinate multiple discipline activities, and serve as the responsible charge for a project
- Consistently and independently apply knowledge and comply with quality programs
- Provide guidance and direction to others on the same project and discipline
- Support continuous improvement and change management efforts
- Interface directly with clients, vendors and subcontractors
- Identify key client interests and drivers for projects
- Communicate client concerns to project team members and develop solutions
- Provide support for business development or pursuit activities
- Manage project changes directly with the client under Project Manager supervision
- Prepare a variety of complex engineering deliverables
- Lead large multi-discipline teams to meet project deliverables
- Provide technical leadership for Distribution Line projects
- Drive solutions to achieve project goals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering technology or sciences preferred or any other degree, specialized training, or experience, that makes the individual uniquely qualified to perform the job responsibilities
- Minimum of 1 year of related work experience
- Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search) in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
