Backend Software Engineer - AI Trainer

DataAnnotation is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to help train AI models remotely. This contract role focuses on crafting diverse coding challenges, delivering clear code samples with explanations, and evaluating AI-generated solutions to improve model performance. Based in Westlake, TX, the position supports remote work with flexible project options and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a variety of coding tasks used to train AI models.
• Produce clear, high-quality code samples accompanied by detailed explanations.
• Evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, performance, and readability.
• Provide constructive feedback that guides the next generation of AI models.

Requirements

• Fluent in English (native or bilingual level).
• Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Kotlin, or Swift.
• Strong writing and grammar skills.
• Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress).
• Previous experience as a Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, or Programmer is preferred.
