BD seeks a motivated Business Analytics Engineer to join the Waters Advanced Diagnostics analytics team in Summit, Indiana, onsite.

Create, refine, and sustain advanced Power BI data models, dashboards, and reports that underpin integrated business analytics.
Develop semantic models with emphasis on performance tuning and efficient DAX implementations.
Create data collection tools with Power Apps and automate workflows using Power Automate and Python.
Design and deploy Python driven data automation pipelines.
Execute ETL processes from diverse sources, including SAP, SharePoint, and other enterprise systems or cloud storage services.
Deliver integrated analytics solutions by leveraging existing frameworks and reusable components.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to convert business needs into analytic solutions.
Monitor, support, troubleshoot, and optimize existing solutions to improve performance and usability; this accounts for about 30 percent of the role.
Lead or contribute to new development initiatives with short project cycles of 1 to 2 months; this accounts for about 70 percent of the role.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across solutions.
Maintain clear documentation of datasets, models, and workflows.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a data analytics or analytics engineering role within a business environment.
Advanced Power BI capabilities, including data modeling, DAX, and performance optimization.
Proven experience building Power Apps and Power Automate flows.
Expertise in Excel and Power Query.
Proficiency in Python for data automation and scripting.
Working knowledge of SQL and other data-centric scripting languages.
Strong understanding of data models, structures, and architecture principles.
Experience with ETL processes.
Familiarity with GitHub or similar version control tools.
Experience integrating with SharePoint for data storage and integration.
Strong business acumen and understanding of cross-functional business processes.
