Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of regulatory model applications and cloud modernization initiatives.
- Architect scalable, secure, and efficient solutions to process large data volumes.
- Drive enterprise AI assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operations, including AI-assisted code review and refactoring, faster testing strategies, and root-cause analysis support; establish validation standards and promote reuse of proven patterns.
- Utilize the SDLC toolchain and authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities to maximize automation value.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and to high quality standards.
- Contribute to strategic technology decisions and provide project and technical leadership.
- Manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Remain hands-on and contribute directly to implementation and technical delivery.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts plus 5+ years of applied experience.
- Proven experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools, with the ability to set team expectations for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations; experience coaching engineers on safe, compliant adoption.
- Extensive experience with PySpark, Python, AWS, and Databricks; exposure to machine learning.
- Data engineering experience.
- Proven project lead or team lead experience.
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture and distributed systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic environments and navigate ambiguity.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering enterprise-grade software solutions.
