Civil Designer/ Civil Engineer

MESH Consulting, LLC is hiring a full-time Civil Designer / Civil Engineer for the firm’s Eagleville, PA office. This onsite role focuses on civil design and engineering tasks with a technology-oriented workflow, including CAD and 3D modeling.

Location and Employment Details

• Work location: Norristown, PA 19403 (onsite)
• Job type: Full-time
• Pay: USD 55,000 - 90,000 per year

Role Summary

The position supports civil design and engineering deliverables for land development work. The work includes CAD-based production, 3D modeling, and field data collection support such as surveys and construction stakeout.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare 3D grade control models for sitework contractors using automated machine control
• Provide value engineering of grading plans for land development projects
• Support construction stakeout, aerial drone surveys, as-builts surveys, and topographic surveys
• Prepare 3D models of proposed and existing underground utilities, including storm, sanitary, water, electric, telecom, and other relevant systems
• Attend coordination meetings and support clash detection with model adjustments to address clashes

Required Qualifications

• Self-motivated, organized, and technology-oriented
• Proficiency with CAD software
• Experience working as a BIM Technician, CAD Drafter, Civil Designer, or Civil Engineer
• Ability to follow proper procedures
• Capability to perform accurate calculations
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong interest in the engineering and construction industry with a focus on quality
• Experience with CAD software
• Minimum education: associate degree in engineering, drafting, surveying, construction, or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience
• Bachelor’s degree: a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
