Client Tech Support Engineering - Sr Professional II
Job Description
Support Digital Payments clients by diagnosing complex application issues, partnering across Product and Engineering, and improving support outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot software application problems by replicating client-reported errors in integrated test environments
- Analyze server logs, XML code, and Single Sign-On (SSO) data to identify root causes and drive resolution
- Provide Level II support to clients via phone, email, and inquiry management tools
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to share client feedback and validate release readiness
- Support and maintain existing CashEdge application releases
- Build product knowledge across Digital Payments applications and share technical guidance with clients and team members
- Develop tools, documentation, and process improvements to enhance client support workflows and reduce recurring issues
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in object-oriented programming for scalable, secure, maintainable web applications
- 5+ years troubleshooting production or test environment application issues using server logs, XML data, SSO information, or similar diagnostic inputs
- 2+ years developing or supporting applications using Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE) (formerly J2EE) and SQL
- 2+ years supporting client-facing technical issues within a post-sales customer support organization
- 2+ years working with web technologies including XML, web services, HTML, JavaScript, or similar technologies
- 2+ years analyzing complex technical issues requiring research, replication, documentation, and cross-functional resolution
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, related experience, and/or military experience

Experience That Would Be Great To Have
- Software engineering or quality assurance experience for financial services or digital payments applications
- Experience using Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) for case documentation, issue tracking, or client support workflows
- Experience with Model-View-Controller (MVC) frameworks and view technologies such as JavaServer Pages (JSP) or JavaServer Faces (JSF) or similar technologies
- Experience supporting high-availability or high-volume transaction systems
How You’ll Work
- On-site Monday through Friday
