Job Description
Responsibilities
- Review and support documentation, validation, assessment, and accreditation processes to ensure IT systems meet IA and security requirements.
- Help define target state and risk thresholds, then analyze actual state information to gauge compliance.
- Advise on codifying strategic objectives into doctrine and procedures to support objective achievement.
- Assist with evaluating applications, software, or specialized utilities to confirm adherence to software assurance best practices.
- Recommend tools and capabilities based on current environments and knowledge of on‑premise, cloud, and hybrid resources to meet security needs.
- Implement the cloud security architectures, tools, and processes you helped shape and define.
- Collaborate with IC clients to verify standards align with security requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years building and administering cloud environments, using cloud‑native features, and leveraging COTS, GOTS, and open source tools to meet objectives.
- Experience developing and evaluating security documentation, including system security plans, contingency plans, security procedures, and continuity of operations plans.
- Experience with security architecture evaluations, guidance development, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code concepts such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph examination.
- Educational combinations: Associate’s degree with 5+ years of IT project experience; Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years; or Master’s degree with 1+ year.
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification such as Security+ CE, CCNA‑Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, or CND within 30 days of start date.

CLEARANCE
- Applicants must undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
COMPENSATION
Salary at Booz Allen is determined by location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract affordability, and organizational requirements. The projected range for this position is USD 99,000 to 225,000 per year. This estimate reflects typical pay for the role and is one component of total compensation.

WORK MODEL
- Onsite: Primary work at a Booz Allen office or customer facility with collaboration in person as required.

- Remote: Local or virtual work with expectations to maintain in-person collaboration when needed, cameras encouraged in meetings.
