Controls Engineer/Programmer
Job Description
JCR Automation, Inc. is hiring an onsite Controls Engineer/Programmer to build and support control systems for special equipment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Engineering and Project Management to develop control systems for special equipment
- Coordinate with the Controls Designer to produce electrical schematics and specify components
- Program PLC logic, HMI interfaces, servo systems, and vision systems
- Produce and maintain machine documentation using MS Office
- Provide customer support and conduct training
- Perform occasional on-site commissioning and/or service
- Complete occasional CAD/design work
Requirements
- Programming experience: 3 years (Required)
- Experience level: entry level to 5 years experience (as stated)
- Education: Associate Degree in a related field (Required) or equivalent work experience
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and servo controls
- Experience with C-more and Allen Bradley HMIs
- Experience with industrial communication protocols
- Must have a current state driver’s license
- United States citizenship (Required)
- Relocation required: relocate to New Haven, IN 46774 before starting work
