Job Description

Trane Technologies invites engineers to join a role centered on developing high quality HVAC controls and software, defining system designs and architectures, and guiding technical direction for stakeholders. This position is onsite in Tyler, Texas, with a base salary ranging from $77,963 to $126,200 per year. Where you will work

Work on site Monday through Thursday with colleagues in Tyler, Texas. On Fridays, you may choose a work location that aligns with your work requirements.

What you will do

  • Provide technical leadership for new product development projects
  • Own requirements management across all phases of the product development life cycle
  • Define system architecture and perform system level design, breaking it down into concrete requirements
  • Assess trade-offs among potential solution approaches
  • Lead independent design reviews and other technical evaluations
  • Participate in failure investigation and resolution efforts

What you will bring

  • BA or BS in an engineering discipline
  • 4+ years of experience supporting system and subsystem product designs, validation testing, and root cause analysis
  • A proven track record of contributing to new technology and new product development projects to improve function, reliability, or cost of products and components
