Custom Software Engineer

Experis is hiring a Contract Application Developer for a role based in St. Louis, MO with remote flexibility. This position centers on migrating and modernizing an existing Google Dialogflow chatbot to Google Conversational Agents (GECX), with hands-on work across development, troubleshooting, and readiness support from testing through production.

In this contract engagement, you will help advance the chatbot from its current platform to GECX by building and configuring conversational functionality, supporting modernization efforts, and participating in technical planning and solution reviews.

Responsibilities

• Support the migration of an existing chatbot from Google Dialogflow to Google Conversational Agents (GECX)
• Develop, configure, and implement chatbot functionality within the target platform
• Assist with software modernization and platform upgrade activities
• Participate in technical discussions, solution design reviews, and implementation planning
• Troubleshoot and resolve chatbot functionality issues during migration and testing
• Support deployment, testing, and production readiness efforts
