DataAnnotation invites applications for a contract Cybersecurity Engineer - AI Trainer. Based in Cleveland, Ohio with remote work options, this role focuses on evaluating AI-generated cybersecurity content, crafting security-centered training challenges, and delivering actionable feedback to guide the evolution of AI security models on a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Assess AI-produced cybersecurity materials for real-world accuracy across threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques.
- Design and resolve security-focused technical problems used to train AI systems.
- Produce clear technical explanations and security-relevant code contributions.
- Provide feedback that directly informs the next generation of AI security models.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role, including fields such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or related areas, including government or military cyber operations.
- Some coding experience is required; comfort navigating and patching a codebase is essential.
- Fluency in English with strong writing skills (native or bilingual proficiency).
