Job Description
Winnebago Industries Inc is seeking a Data & AI Engineer to help design, build, and support enterprise data and AI capabilities. This hybrid role is based in Eden Prairie, MN and supports platform strategy by enabling data integration, analytics, master data management, and enterprise AI initiatives. The position works primarily with Azure and Databricks to deliver scalable pipelines and production-ready AI workflows.
What you will do
- Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and AI solutions using Azure and Databricks to inform and support platform strategy and roadmaps.
- Develop and operationalize LLM/ML/AI capabilities into pipelines and workflows that improve output quality and performance as use cases evolve.
- Implement and maintain enterprise ontology, master data management, data standards, and data quality practices to support analytics and AI solutions.
- Apply Dev/Sec/Ops best practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and automation to improve delivery speed and operational stability.
- Partner with development and data teams to promote best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Support and operate existing and legacy data platforms and integrations.
- Collaborate with business and analytics teams to translate requirements into technical designs that drive measurable business value.
- Perform other duties as assigned based on business need.
What you bring
- 3+ years of experience with Spark (PySpark/SQL) and Delta Lake engineering skills.
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining data and analytics capabilities using Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Python, or comparable technologies.
- Ability to travel to other Winnebago locations as required.
