Job Description

Gulfline Systems LLC is seeking Data Analysts, Data Engineers, and ETL Developers for prospective municipal government technology projects in the United States. This is a contract opportunity where work may span data analysis, reporting and BI, and the development and maintenance of ETL and data integration solutions across enterprise systems.

Role Overview

Successful candidates will support activities such as analyzing and maintaining data across enterprise systems, building integration and ETL pipelines, and delivering reporting and business intelligence solutions. Engagements are dependent on contract award and final staffing approval.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, transform, validate, and maintain data across enterprise systems.
  • Develop and support data integration processes, ETL pipelines, and reporting solutions.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data analysis and processing.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions.
  • Troubleshoot data quality, integration, and processing issues.
  • Support data mapping, reconciliation, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.

Requirements

  • SQL and relational database systems.
  • Python for data analysis and processing.
  • ETL development and enterprise data integration.
  • Power BI or similar reporting and visualization tools.
  • Microsoft Azure data services, including Azure Data Factory or Databricks.
  • Data modeling, transformation, validation, and quality assurance.
  • Developing reporting datasets from multiple enterprise systems.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Contract Positions and Pay

  • Data Analyst: $40–$60/hour (Offsite). Focus includes SQL, Python, Power BI, statistical analysis, and reporting.
  • Data Engineer: $55–$85/hour (On-site in New Orleans). Responsibilities align with enterprise data integration, SQL, data mapping, and reporting datasets.
  • ETL Developer: $55–$80/hour (Offsite). Emphasis includes ETL processes, SQL, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and data transformation.

Location

United States (remote). Location may vary by position, with New Orleans, LA listed for on-site roles.
