Data Analytics Engineer

Compensation

Base salary range: $100,000–$120,000. Virtual Stock Options are included. Final compensation will be based on the candidate's experience and location.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and document DBT models in a Snowflake environment to keep data clean, reliable, and well-structured
• Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and data sources that stakeholders trust and can use independently
• Support day-to-day data operations, handling ad hoc requests, troubleshooting reporting issues, and diagnosing pipeline problems
• Contribute to modernizing the data infrastructure to enable self-serve analytics through AI-assisted tooling
• Own stakeholder relationships independently, gathering requirements, setting expectations, and communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements

• Proven experience building or structuring datasets, not just querying existing work
• Strong SQL and DBT Core skills with hands-on Snowflake experience
• Track record of delivering Tableau dashboards that stakeholders rely on
• Excellent communication skills, capable of owning stakeholder conversations, gathering requirements, and managing expectations
• High attention to data quality and the ability to work independently to troubleshoot before escalating
• Familiarity with AI-assisted data tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor
• Familiarity with Salesforce
