Data Analytics Engineer

Blue Sky Innovative Solutions is hiring a Data Analytics Engineer in Washington, D.C., with an onsite work arrangement. In this role, you will help enable critical decision-making by turning complex, large-scale data into reliable analytics, reporting, and operational insights within a secure environment.

You will build and operationalize data capabilities that support day-to-day operations, while partnering with internal stakeholders to keep data solutions scalable, secure, and efficient.

What you’ll do

• Build, test, and deploy data pipelines and analytic models that support operations.
• Carry out data wrangling, cleansing, and transformation to power reporting and dashboards.
• Implement advanced analytics such as trend analysis, anomaly detection, and predictive modeling.
• Support the integration of multiple government and contractor data systems.
• Coordinate with the Data Architect to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions.

What you’ll need

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 7+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics working with large datasets.
• Technical skills: Strong expertise in SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Preferred experience: Experience with DoD or intelligence community systems.
• Security: TS/SCI clearance required.
