Data Engineer
Job Description
The Data Engineer role at DCI Solutions is based onsite in Washington, DC, within a cross-functional team dedicated to solving data problems and ensuring updated, accurate data. The position also covers data pipeline engineering, development of user-facing applications, data integration support, and providing feedback to the engineering team, with a compensation range of USD 175,000 to 260,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Contribute as a Data Engineer within a cross-functional team to address critical challenges.
- Fulfill duties as a Data Pipeline Engineer.
- Ensure customers access up-to-date and accurate data.
- Take lead in responding to data health failures on key pipelines.
- Review code to identify fixes and improve data pipeline stability.
- Collaborate with pipeline engineers across other customer accounts.
- Develop user-facing applications to support mission requirements.
- Assist data integration initiatives.
- Design user experience and platform navigation improvements for the data platform.
- Provide feedback to the engineering team on the product.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Data Transformation.
- 3+ years of experience with Data Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience with Software Engineering.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Proficiency in Java.
- Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance.
- Top Secret clearance.
