Data Engineer

Triverus Consulting is seeking a Data Engineer to help turn enterprise information into actionable business value. In this hybrid role based in the Woburn, MA area, you will design and build dashboards and BI reporting solutions, collaborate across the software development lifecycle, and support both internal and client-facing analytics.

The position supports operations and company-wide reporting through a combination of SQL, DAX, Power BI, and enterprise data systems, including Triverus T360. This role requires residence in the NH, MA, or RI area and commuting to HQ as needed.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to technical documents and specifications, including workflow diagrams, use cases, and functional/non-functional specifications.
• Use data analytics, data integration, and business intelligence reporting tools to design and build internal dashboards for operations and external dashboard and reporting solutions.
• Develop Power BI reports and dashboards for Triverus engagements, as well as Triverus T360 for company-wide reporting and analytics.
• Build and leverage data warehouses, data marts, and models for business, financial, and operational analysis and/or reporting and visualization.
• Perform data analysis that supports and enhances Information Management systems.
• Participate across the software development lifecycle, including functional requirements, technical design, development implementation, documentation, testing, and deployment.
• Validate design objectives and deliverables through meetings, user requirements, analysis of existing architecture, and related methods.
• Ensure quality through testing, debugging code, and problem resolution.
• Optimize efficiency and performance of SQL and DAX queries, reports, and dataflows by applying performance tuning techniques, identifying bottlenecks, and improving query execution speed and resource utilization.

• Ability to commute to the office HQ as needed.
• 40 hours per week, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Compensation and Location

• Salary: USD 90,000 - 135,000 per year
