Data Engineer

This hands-on consulting role focuses on building and optimizing data pipelines and models using Snowflake and dbt. The engagement starts immediately and includes bridging legacy SQL Server systems with modern cloud data platforms, working closely with client stakeholders to shape technical solutions.

Compensation

USD 110,000 - 120,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data models and transformations using dbt
• Design, develop, and tune Snowflake environments, including warehouses, schemas, security, and performance
• Migrate and integrate data from SQL Server into Snowflake
• Write clean, efficient, well-tested SQL
• Collaborate with client teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical implementations
• Recommend best practices for data architecture, governance, and cost optimization

Requirements

• Hands-on production experience with Snowflake
• Solid experience building models and pipelines with dbt (Core or Cloud)
• Strong SQL Server background, including T-SQL, stored procedures, and SSIS or similar
• Excellent SQL skills and a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts
• Availability to start immediately
