Responsibilities
- Design and integrate user experiences for complex data science, data engineering, and software applications.
- Contribute across the full digital design lifecycle, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, rapid prototyping, interface design, and front-end development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineers, analysts, and mission stakeholders, to ensure seamless alignment between user interfaces and backend systems.
- Support national security decision makers by delivering effective, mission-focused UI solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, integration, and optimization for data science, data engineering, and software applications.
- Experience designing interfaces, workflows, and visualizations for data-rich or operational systems.
- Proficiency in system integration using protocols such as JSON, REST, and XML.
- Hands-on experience with modern UI/UX design tools, including Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Knowledge of DoW operation centers workflows and processes.
- Ability to work effectively with operations customers and technical experts to optimize cross-functional solutions for user experience.
- TS/SCI clearance is required.

Compensation
The projected annual salary range for this role is $99,000 to $225,000, with actual compensation determined by location, education, experience, skills, and organizational considerations.
