Hybrid Data Engineer role in Indianapolis, IN focused on building and supporting data pipelines and analytics-ready datasets for healthcare analytics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, building, maintaining, and monitoring data pipelines that support analytics and reporting needs.
• Support data ingestion and transformation tasks under guidance from senior teammates.
• Write, review, and troubleshoot SQL queries with mentorship.
• Investigate data quality issues, pipeline failures, and data inconsistencies to improve reliability.
• Collaborate with teammates through knowledge-sharing sessions and ongoing learning activities.
• Engage with engineers and stakeholders to understand data requirements and enhance data reliability.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of related data engineering experience
• Foundational SQL knowledge and understanding of query purposes
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• Basic programming exposure, preferably in Python or a similar language
• Growth mindset with a genuine interest in learning data engineering concepts, tools, and cloud platforms
• Bachelor's degree preferred
