Data Engineer

Robotics Technologies is seeking a Data Engineer to design and optimize scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions with a focus on Azure-based platforms. This onsite role in Columbia, MO centers on reliable ETL workflows, data governance, and delivering reporting outcomes through Power BI dashboards.

What you will do

• Design and build data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other cloud-native tools.
• Implement ETL processes for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and provide actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to support decision-making across teams.
• Optimize data workflows to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Ensure data quality and governance standards are met across all systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving data pipelines, integrations, and reporting.

What you bring

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure including Data Factory, Synapse, and Storage (and related services).
• Proficiency in Databricks for big data processing and analytics.
• Python skills for data manipulation, automation, and integration.
• Expertise in Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualization.
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience with data modeling and performance tuning.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
