Data Engineer, PV Prime Video TV - Tech

Data Engineer role within PV Prime Video Tech at Amazon focuses on designing scalable data infrastructure and pipelines to enable data-driven decision making across Prime Video. Responsibilities

• Contribute to high‑impact initiatives within PV Commerce Analytics that support major Prime Video investments planned for 2026, operating within one of the world's largest and most complex data warehouse environments.
• Design and maintain scalable data infrastructure that integrates data from Video Commerce, Digital Commerce, Prime, and Device Platform teams using AWS big data technologies such as Redshift, EMR/Spark, Andes Data Lake, and other native services.
• Provide curated datasets used by more than fifty downstream teams for reporting, analytics, machine learning models, and ad hoc requests.
• Develop high‑performing, scalable data products that empower data‑driven decision making across Prime Video.
• Design complex data pipelines and models powering subscription, transaction, and device registration datasets.
• Deliver scalable data solutions on native AWS infrastructure.
• Develop data quality validation frameworks and monitoring solutions to ensure data integrity and timeliness.
• Build and optimize batch and near real‑time processing workflows using Spark, Redshift, and Andes.
• Create robust orchestration and monitoring for workflows with complex dependencies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to onboard new data sources.

Requirements

• 3+ years of data engineering experience.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL pipeline development.
• Strong SQL skills.
