This Data Security Engineer role focuses on architecting and deploying data security solutions for DoD, IC, and civilian federal clients in a zero trust framework.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and configure data security solutions for DoD, IC, and civilian federal customers.
Develop architectures that satisfy client requirements while applying Zero Trust principles and IC data header guidelines.
Coordinate with agency personnel and internal delivery and engineering teams to align security initiatives.
Contribute to building custom data-control policies to enforce positive data control across hybrid cloud environments.

Requirements

Three or more years of experience designing, deploying, configuring, and supporting enterprise data security solutions.
Experience implementing and administering data loss prevention technologies such as Forcepoint, Trellix, Symantec, or Microsoft Purview.
Proficiency tuning and troubleshooting data protection policies and controls.
Experience integrating security solutions within complex enterprise environments.
Experience documenting and diagramming technical architectures.
Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues and developing scalable engineering solutions.
Knowledge across cybersecurity, networking, operating systems, identity, cloud, and enterprise infrastructure.
Ability to evaluate, learn, and implement new security technologies and capabilities.
Secret clearance.

Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. A Secret clearance is required.

Compensation

The projected annual compensation range is $86,900 to $198,000. Salary is determined by location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements. This posting closes within 90 days of the posting date.
