Job Description
Responsibilities
- Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
- Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
- Supports the Frigate Ship Design Team and reports to the Frigate Ship Design Manager.
- Provides broad program technical direction and reports on the associated engineering efforts.
- Interacts with program management and customer organizations supporting the Frigate execution.
- Assures technical adequacy, accuracy, and quality of engineering products developed.
- Supports the review of engineering products developed under area of responsibility.
- Acts as an advisor to the SDM to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems.
Requirements
- 9 years of experience with Bachelor of Science degree in related field.
- 7 years of relevant professional experience with a Master’s Degree.
- 4 years of relevant professional experience with a PhD.
