Entry-Level Software Engineer

Tapestry Solutions, a Boeing Company, builds and supports weapon planning software products for the USAF. This onsite entry-level role in Maryland Heights, MO supports the next generation Mission Planning system using SAFe Agile and a microservices architecture. You’ll work with modern web and backend technologies, including TypeScript/React and C# services, while contributing to dependable software through testing, documentation, and integration.

What You’ll Do

• Under general supervision, develop, document, maintain, and unit test code using C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, and React within software development environments
• Develop, document, and maintain software design by following established methods and practices
• Troubleshoot defects and collaborate with others to propose solutions
• Assist with specification and maintenance of software requirements
• Integrate and compile software components into builds
• Test limited component-level software in the target environment
• Document deployed processes and tools, and collect metrics
• Troubleshoot operational and integration issues by gathering and documenting supporting data
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance
• Experience with C#

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science with 0+ years related experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years directly related experience, or 8+ years relevant experience
• Experience with Agile/Scrum
• Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• Experience with Relational Databases
• 1+ years of experience across the full software development life-cycle
• Experience with AWS, C2S, or other cloud environments

Additional Job Details

• Pay range: $65,000 - $72,680 base pay per year
• Schedule: 1st shift
• Location: Maryland Heights, MO (onsite)
