EXPERIENCED MOLDING ENGINEER LEVEL III (MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE)
Job Description
Stanley Electric U.S. is seeking an experienced injection molding engineer to join its onsite team in London, Ohio. This Level III role centers on new model development, process optimization, and cost-conscious production enhancements, supported by robotics and tooling initiatives across production and maintenance groups. With five to ten years in molding and robotics, you will blend technical depth with practical problem solving to sustain profitability and quality while advancing Stanley’s competitive position.
Salary
Salary range: USD 80,000 - 90,000 per year.
Location
London, Ohio (onsite).
Responsibilities
- Analyze scrap and defect trends to identify solutions that control manufacturing costs.
- Provide technical insight into inventory, manufacturing costs, and capital investments to ensure reliable financial information.
- Contribute to capital investment projects for new model development, installing new equipment and processes, and applying engineering specifications to meet production needs.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to address ongoing problems, reduce costs, boost productivity, or deliver a superior product.
- Use current technology to assess manufacturing performance and ensure the right tools support profitability and quality.
- Offer technical support to production, process, and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and increase productivity.
- Strengthen competitive advantage by improving new model development, including startup, tooling design, process development, simulations, robot programming, and process confirmation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Plastics, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
- 5 to 10 years of injection molding and robotics experience
- Proficiency with CAD / 3D modeling
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
