Forward Deployed Software Engineer - US Government

AppIt Ventures is hiring a Forward Deployed Software Engineer for an onsite role in Denver, CO, working directly with U.S. government stakeholders on software solutions that support operational needs. This position blends hands-on development with real-world troubleshooting, integration work, and close collaboration with end users.

Compensation: $90,000.00 to $125,000.00 per year. The role is in person.

What you’ll do

• Develop and deploy software solutions for government-related projects
• Partner with stakeholders to understand technical and operational requirements
• Build, test, and maintain reliable applications and system integrations
• Troubleshoot technical issues and take steps to improve system performance
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and project teams
• Document technical processes and implementation procedures
• Follow applicable data-protection and security requirements

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
• Experience developing software applications using relevant programming languages
• Knowledge of APIs, databases, system integrations, and software deployment
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders
• Willingness to meet any applicable government security or clearance requirements
