Information Security Engineer

Mojo Solutions and Services MSS LLC is hiring an Information Security Engineer for onsite work in Irvine, CA (multiple openings). This is a full-time role with Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM hours, supporting a security team that uses modern tools for monitoring, detection, and automation.

Compensation: $75,795/year (listed rate: $75,795/year).

Responsibilities

• Frequent travel required to unanticipated locations throughout the United States.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Network Engineering, Computer Networking, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in roles such as Network & Security Engineer, Senior Network Engineer, IT Manager, Information Security Engineer, Senior Network & Security Specialist, or a related position.
• 2 years of experience with firewall configuration and management, such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco ASA.
• 2 years of experience with security tools, including SIEM platforms (for example, Splunk and QRadar), IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection platforms.
• 2 years of experience with network monitoring and packet analysis tools, such as Wireshark and tcpdump.
• 2 years of experience in scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• 2 years of experience with version control systems such as GitHub for managing security scripts and playbooks.
