Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design and implement security controls and defenses to detect and block internal and external attacks on email, data, e-commerce, and complex web systems.
- Perform security testing to identify weaknesses and design effective countermeasures.
- Oversee audits of hardware, software, network firewalls, and encryption protocols.
- Maintain and enforce security policies governing physical and virtual access to systems.
- Inform management about potential business impact from theft, destruction, alteration, or denial of access to information and systems.
- Collaborate with internal and external clients, Professional Services, and outsourcing teams.
- Secure Software Development Leadership: partner with development teams to embed secure practices across diverse tech stacks.
- Promote shift-left security by integrating secure coding early in the software development lifecycle.
- Drive adoption of secure coding standards and establish reusable baselines across repositories.
- Vulnerability and Secrets Management: assess and remediate vulnerabilities, reducing false positives and neglected issues.
- Lead initiatives to minimize secrets in code repositories using tooling and automation.
- Tooling Ownership and Vendor Engagement: represent Zebra on Change Advisory Boards for key security vendors.
- Maximize security tool value through proper integration, configuration, and feature adoption.
- Deliver briefings on tool capabilities and updates to internal teams.
- CI/CD and Automation Integration: design and improve pipelines with strong cybersecurity controls.
- CI/CD and Automation Integration: ensure security tools are integrated into build and release processes.
- Asset and Policy Governance: contribute to asset tagging strategies with custom properties for applications and code assets.
- Collaborate with Policy & Governance to update and author product development security policies.
- Cross-Functional Influence: communicate complex security concepts clearly to developers, leadership, and stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Influence: act as an internal consultant and mentor on application security best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum eight years of relevant experience
- Cyber security experience
- Vulnerability management experience
- Experience with tooling management, including implementation and troubleshooting
- Software development experience with Python, C++, or C#
- Strong background in application security
- Experience in product security

Incentive Compensation
In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for a performance-based annual cash incentive with a target equal to 12% of base pay, subject to plan terms.
Pay Range
USD 122,800.00 - USD 184,200.00 annually
