Job Description

Enercon Services, Inc. is hiring an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer for onsite work in Kennesaw, GA across mid, senior, and principal levels.

Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate, error-free drawings, calculations, and engineering analyses aligned with industry codes, standards, and client expectations
  • Create engineering documents that meet and support client, ENERCON, and regulatory requirements using processes that emphasize excellence
  • Strengthen expertise in industry codes, safety culture principles, and advanced design techniques for the nuclear sector
  • Deliver engineering solutions aligned to quality assurance programs and project performance expectations
  • Maintain strong professional relationships through clear communication and consistent delivery of high-quality engineering results
  • Partner with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated designs that satisfy varied project requirements
  • Support field execution through plant walkdowns, engaging with client personnel and verifying that structures, systems, and components meet engineering standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners and coordinate with multiple engineering teams to drive project success
  • Develop design studies; prepare engineering calculations and analyses; attend project meetings; perform walkdowns; and/or mentor junior employees

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical, Mechanical, or similar Engineering Degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with design of electrical systems
  • Preferred experience in one or more: engineering/design services, power generation, nuclear power, heavy industrial (including chemical or pulp & paper), energy, and/or government (DOE) projects
  • Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor while collaborating effectively in teams
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Certain roles may involve federal contracts requiring U.S. citizenship; applicants must confirm status for those positions
  • Senior Engineers: typically 7 years of post-graduate experience in a related role
  • Principal Engineers: typically 10 years of post-graduate experience in a related role

Compensation

  • USD $90,000 - $185,000 per year
  • Compensation is based on job-related skills, experience, geographic location, and internal equity

Additional Information

  • Compensation range is a good-faith estimate at time of posting
  • Some positions may be performed remotely in one or more U.S. states
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship
  • Employment is contingent upon passing pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screenings, background checks, and annual motor vehicle record reviews per company and client policies
