IT Specialist (Data Engineer)

Responsibilities

• Plan, deploy, and sustain enterprise data platforms, including data lakes, data warehouses, and lakehouse architectures.
• Create data models using normalized, dimensional, star, and snowflake schemas to enable advanced analytics.
• Construct ETL and ELT pipelines for structured and semi-structured data, with automated data quality monitoring.
• Develop and operate event-driven and streaming data pipelines using modern orchestration frameworks.
• Establish data governance, classification, retention, and stewardship aligned to federal standards.
• Apply Zero Trust security concepts and assist with ATO processes in line with NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, and FedRAMP.

Requirements

• CT-13: applying DevOps practices to data engineering
