Job Description

Based in Plano, Texas with a remote-ready setup, Tavant Technologies offers an environment where advanced AI initiatives drive product innovation. The Lead AI Engineer will architect and deploy sophisticated AI models, collaborating across data science, engineering, and product teams to enhance our solutions and services.

Location and Compensation

Location: Plano, TX (remote). Salary: USD 130,000 - 160,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI models and algorithms to solve complex business problems and enhance product performance.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to gather and preprocess data for model training.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of AI models to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Stay updated on the latest AI trends and technologies to continually improve our offerings.
  • Document processes and maintain clear communication with team members and management.
  • Identify opportunities for AI integration across projects and define project scopes for AI-driven initiatives.

Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field with a strong foundation in machine learning and statistical analysis.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java, along with experience using AI frameworks and libraries.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Typescript, and Amazon Build Tool (ABT).
  • Knowledge of deep learning techniques and natural language processing (NLP).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
