You will mentor teams, collaborate with product and delivery partners, and design, build, and deploy advanced AI driven solutions that deliver measurable outcomes. The role is onsite in New York, with a salary range of USD 118,700 to 243,700 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a culture focused on customer and business outcomes, delivering engineering solutions that solve complex problems with lean, high‑quality designs and implementations.
  • Act as the technical advocate for products, ensuring code integrity, feasibility, and alignment with business and customer goals; lead requirement analysis, low‑level architecture and component design, development, testing, integrations, and support.
  • Maintain architecture and stack integrity in line with enterprise standards; manage dependencies, code design and quality, data handling, and ongoing maintenance; stay hands-on, continuously learning new languages and frameworks; produce technical specifications and review teammates' code while mentoring them.
  • Develop lean engineering solutions through rapid, inexpensive experimentation; engage with customers and product teams before, during, and after delivery to ensure the right solution is delivered at the right time.
  • Adopt a bias for action and evidence, delivering lean, maintainable solutions while navigating complexity and uncertainty.
  • Collaborate with product management, experience, and delivery teams; integrate diverse perspectives to balance feasibility, viability, usability, and value; foster a collaborative environment that drives innovation.
  • Demonstrate deep expertise in modern software engineering practices including AI and agentic SDLC to deliver daily product deployments with full automation from discovery to production and operations, and model best practices to optimize solutioning and delivery.
  • Rapidly acquire domain knowledge relevant to the business or product; translate needs, architectures, and UX/UI designs into technical specifications and code; contribute as a flexible, quality‑focused team member and address tech debt.
  • Exhibit clear, persuasive communication, articulating complex concepts and guiding teammates and product teams through evidence‑backed tradeoffs; craft narratives that align technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Engage with product engineering teams at all levels and include customers as needed; build constructive relationships and foster a culture of co‑creation and shared momentum toward product goals.

  • 3+ years building AI/ML applications, with hands-on GenAI experience across LLM integration (OpenAI, Anthropic, or open‑source models), RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and vector databases.
  • 3+ years cloud‑native engineering using FaaS, PaaS, or micro‑services on Azure, AWS, or GCP, including AI/ML services such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or Vertex AI.
  • 1+ years establishing engineering standards, including actively leading, mentoring, and guiding team members in adopting and improving these standards.
  • Prior software engineering experience with Business Context Diagrams, sequence/activity/state/entity data flow diagrams, OOP/OOD, data structures, algorithms, code instrumentation, and AI augmented, spec‑driven development.
  • Experience using XP, Lean, DevSecOps, SRE, ADO, GitHub, SonarQube, MLflow and agentic AI frameworks (LangFuse, LangSmith, or equivalent multi‑agent orchestration tools) to deliver high‑quality products rapidly.
