Lead Applied AI Engineer II - PxE ServiceNow
Job Description
Lead applied AI engineering for ServiceNow solutions, combining full-stack delivery with GenAI and agentic capabilities from design through production operations.
Responsibilities
- Drive a culture of accountability for customer and business outcomes and for the cost required to achieve them
- Design and deliver high-quality, lean engineering solutions to solve complex problems with measurable value
- Own inference, token, and cloud cost for what you build
- Act as a technical advocate for products to ensure code integrity, feasibility, and alignment with business and customer goals
- Lead end-to-end technical execution: requirement analysis, low-level architecture and component design, development, testing, integrations, and support
- Maintain accountability for architecture and technical stack integrity against enterprise standards and strategy
- Manage dependencies; oversee design, implementation, quality, data, and ongoing maintenance and operations
- Stay hands-on and self-driven by continuously learning new approaches, languages, and frameworks
- Create technical specifications; write scalable, supportable code; review other engineers’ work and mentor teammates to meet or exceed quality KPIs
- Collaborate effectively with diverse teams and cross-functional stakeholders (product management, experience, delivery)
- Develop solutions using rapid, inexpensive experimentation; favor action and evidence over extensive planning
- Use a “leaning-forward” approach to navigate complexity and uncertainty while delivering maintainable solutions
- Integrate diverse perspectives to balance feasibility, viability, usability, and value
- Support daily product deployments using full automation across discovery to production to operations with quality checks through the SSDLC lifecycle
- Engage with customers and product teams before, during, and after delivery to ensure the right solution at the right time
- Translate business and user needs plus architecture and UX/UI designs into technical specifications and implementation
- Inspire and influence teams with evidence-based trade-off discussions; create coherent technical narratives tied to business objectives
- Build constructive relationships and foster co-creation and shared momentum toward product goals
