Experis is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Security Engineer to support ServiceNow Security Operations initiatives from an onsite location in Vienna, VA. In this role, you will design and implement security capabilities that improve how vulnerability response, configuration compliance, and automation workflows operate across teams and systems.
This position focuses on building secure ServiceNow solutions, connecting vulnerability data from external sources, and enabling reliable routing, approvals, escalations, and remediation verification through platform tooling.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement ServiceNow Security Operations solutions, including data models, workflows, access controls, and application configurations
- Configure and manage ServiceNow Vulnerability Response and Configuration Compliance modules, including onboarding sources, setting assignment rules, and managing remediation tasks
- Integrate ServiceNow with vulnerability scanners and third-party tools, ensuring accurate data mapping and error handling
- Build automation workflows using Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and APIs to support routing, approvals, escalations, and remediation verification
- Collaborate with security, IT, and operations teams to gather requirements, facilitate workshops, and align configurations with business risk and remediation strategies
Requirements
- 4-8 years of ServiceNow administration, development, or platform experience
- 3+ years of ServiceNow Security Operations or Vulnerability Response implementation experience
- Experience with vulnerability management lifecycle processes, including scan, triage, prioritization, and remediation
- Proficiency in developing ServiceNow JavaScript, including GlideRecord, Business Rules, and Script Includes
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology or a related field

Compensation: USD 50 per hourly.
