Job Description
At Kyndryl, the Lead Cybersecurity Engineer is accountable for protecting computer systems and networks, directing incident response, vulnerability management, and proactive threat hunting. The role prioritizes deploying security solutions to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data while conforming to applicable compliance standards.

USD 92,040 - 209,880 per yearly
Requirements
- At least one year of experience engineering or deploying security technologies such as EDR, MDR, SIEM, and SOAR
- Experience with Arizona DMV processes
- Proven ability to manage and maintain existing security measures while implementing new systems
- Knowledge of cloud security, cyber resiliency and incident management, Zero Trust, network and edge security, and emerging technologies like IoT and AI
- Expertise across network, host, and cloud security, attack techniques, analysis, and investigation
- Strong understanding of the current cyber threat landscape and common adversary tactics, with experience in investigating, containing, and recovering from attacks
Responsibilities
- Oversee incident response, vulnerability management, and cyber threat hunting activities
- Implement security solutions using up-to-date technologies including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, antivirus software, and vulnerability scanners
- Design, deploy, and maintain security controls to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability
- Drive the deployment of advanced security solutions that comply with regulations and industry standards and exceed expectations
- Provide security coverage across networks, servers, systems, and hardware devices, guiding deployment to meet compliance requirements
- Proactively recommend system tuning, identify new use cases, and leverage customer and industry data to continually enhance service value
