Machine Learning Engineer

Vuegen is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to help develop, deploy, and improve machine learning models for image-based solutions. The role involves hands-on work across research, proof-of-concept development, cloud deployment, and cross-functional implementation in support of scalable and reliable outcomes.

This onsite position is based in Hoffman Estates, IL and offers an annual salary range of USD 130,707 to 132,132,000 (as listed). The work includes deploying models on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and supporting ongoing monitoring and enhancement through data collection and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and implementing machine learning models for image-based solutions in alignment with established guidelines.
• Assist in researching and benchmarking state-of-the-art machine learning techniques by building proof-of-concept implementations, evaluating performance, and documenting results clearly.
• Assist in deploying machine learning models on cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to meet scalability, performance, and reliability requirements under the guidance of the team lead.
• Perform data collection, validation, and basic analysis to support model performance monitoring and improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and support implementation of technical solutions.
• Stay current on emerging AI and Machine Learning technologies and apply relevant concepts to assigned project tasks.

Requirements

• Master's degree in CS, IT, Engg or related.

• Salary range: $130,707.00 to $132,000.00/year.
