Job Description

Vibhutechinc is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer (contract) to design and deliver scalable, tested, and configurable platform software. The role focuses on building capabilities around enterprise AutoML, Feature Engineering, and MLOps using Python and Google Cloud Platform in a hybrid setup across the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate functional requirements into scalable, tested, and configurable platform software.
  • Define and automate key metrics and metadata management through software packages that standardize logging and governance for platform tenants.
  • Manage and integrate data sources across on-prem and cloud, including RDBMS systems, Warehouses, BigQuery, and Bucket Storage.
  • Develop features aligned with enterprise AutoML, Feature Engineering, and MLOps capabilities.
  • Perform software development in Python and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within an agile delivery environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Understanding of advanced algorithms and applications using R and/or Python.
  • Ability to recommend infrastructure components such as GPUs or CPUs based on job and compute needs.
  • Experience managing and integrating on-prem and cloud data sources, including RDBMS systems, Warehouses, BigQuery, and Bucket Storage.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • 2+ years of experience deploying and monitoring ML models in batch and real-time business processes, with understanding of ML frameworks.
  • 2+ years of Python programming experience applying strong software development principles.
  • Hands-on experience building solutions using cloud-native services, with GCP preferred (AWS acceptable), including: bucket storage, BigQuery, Kubeflow, DataProc, VertexAI, and DataFusion.
